Victoria Foods Carriage Driving Extravaganza, Hand Equestrian Centre,19th and 20th September 2009.
Again the keen Powys trio of Anthea, Rhian and Emily took their turnouts to enjoy the two days of driven showing. The event was truly an extravaganza! The facilities were excellent with new on site stabling, a first class cafe and separate bar and good covered viewing for indoor and outdoor rings. With the Victoria Foods Championships held at this show there were the best quality turn outs from across Britain competing in the Private driving classes which our intrepid trio were entering....
Against such opposition Rhian was delighted to be placed 3rd in the Junior Whip class , 3rd in the Open Showman’s class and 3rd in the Country Vehicle.

Emily was 3rd in the Welsh and Lady Whip classes , 2nd in the Open Showman and was the delighted winner of the Concours D’Elegance class 13.2 and under. This was held at night so carriage candles were lit for the first time .
