Beulah Show, Beulah, 12th september 2009.
This is a local show for the majority of our members although it unfortunately clashes with Kington show where Jackie Cartwright was the worthy winner of the exercise class with Just Toto her coloured stallion to his wagonette.
The show is keen to attract carriage drivers and increased the number of classes this year so there were several classes a turnout could enter and a judged show drive through lovely scenery too.
This was enjoyed by keen pleasure drivers Bob and Philippa Giles with their Fell pony Thistle and by Cathy Gower and her husband Ray with their cob Penny.
This year it was affiliated to the BDS for the first time but non members are very much encouraged to participate and did so with very good results.
Overall driving champion of the show was Emily with Crossfield Glory in his Liverpool gig.
